I volunteer at the Local Airport, and am on the Advisory Board for the Airport. This guy is an amazing kid. I took the picture and wrote the little write up. This is about the fourth or fifth article in a few months that I have written or had written for the paper. This follows an article about looking for big foot, a skydiver celebrating his 95th birthday, and LENI the airport dog that was picked up by the Associated Press.

I have Faith, I have Hope.
WE have Hope.
Our Faith and HOPE is in God.
Our paths have wandered, but our desire is true. Char has been attending nursing school, and just got a GREAT ride from U of M I think...She will continue classes in Lansing, but U of M will pick up the costs of her tuition.
ME...I have cared for my mom the last several years, she died last June 29th. I haven't found any PAYING job to do...but I'm working (Volunteering) at the Salvation Army Food Bank, and at The MT. Pleasant Michigan Airport. I am on the Executive Board there. I' ve been getting lots of articles published through a local reporter, Three so far, one on Leni The Airport Dog , One on Animal Planet in Search of Bigfoot, and another on a guy at the Jump School who jumped on his 92nd birthday.
We just continue to keep on..hoping in the promise God gave us to establish a trust for the throw away kids. I've also become a Foster Parent, he was 16 when he started coming around...he just turned 18. At his birthday dinner, he said, "One of the most important things I learned, is that if you don't like your biological family, Find another, and I"m so Glad I did". Oh Yeah...a boo-hoo moment!
Peace.
